i'm a bit hungover today. it's fun in a body experiment way.
today: i have a bourbon whiskey hangover. i'm super tired cos i only had 5 hours sleep. and i'm at the office. was feeling rubbish but in a stable state.
now i introduced water into the system. that is doing weird things just now with my previously totally dehydrated system. i can feel stuff happening in my brain, like stuff whirling around and it's throbbing a bit. when this happens, i think it usually means i'll feel better in general BUT i'll feel much more like sleep because previously the dehydration was something that was keeping me awake. so perhaps this water was a bad idea.

I sometimes get quite itchy when I'm really hungover.

yeah! when i have a proper heavy night, there's also muscle pain - there was this one time when it hurt to touch anything with any part of my body. so it hurt to sit down.

any liquid at all after whiskey never seems to help. carbs, preferably in grease format.
staying in bed is obviously the best, though.
my head isn't generally too bad, but my innards give me right gyp after a good session.

I read somewhere that a bulk of hangover symptoms can be attributed to some sort of guilt factor, but I think that is mostly nonsense.
This is maybe a terrible thing to do, and I wouldn't recommend that anyone follow such a regimen, but if you have the leisure time to indulge in the hair of the dog, I think it actually can work really well. Sleep deprivation + alcohol is borderline psychedelic at times...or at least comparable to the effects of some "research chemical", I'm thinking.
But it perhaps goes w/o saying that prudence is called for in these cases. Alcohol can be amazing under certain circumstances, but proper Alcoholism is obv. dud, and indicates that Changes need to be made.
I'm curious if any research has ever been done regarding hangovers ->>> "teh horny".
