I never knew a thing about this guy, but have enjoyed Popeyes chicken for many years.

I once went to the Copeland's in Alexandria, VA, too. I think my cousin worked at the Copeland's in New Orleans when she first moved there ~ 93/94, but I can't be sure.

Either way, bummer. Sounds like a solid example of new money with a good dash of "I don't give a fuck."

Copeland opened a local chain called Cheesecake Bistro, where you can finish your cream-drenched seafood pasta with a scoop of cheesecake in a pecan crust.

i always thought it was great that the murals at all popeyes show chickens gleefully participating in their own executions.
