I think these are the good ones:
Carry On Up The Khyber Carry On Cleo Carry On Cabbie Carry On Screaming Carry On Doctor (or whatever the first Hospital one is) (and maybe) Carry On At Your Convenience
what do you think?

All of the Carry Ons past 1972 - Girls/Dick/Behind/England/Emmannuelle - are pretty awful sadly.

Add "Spying", as Andrew L says, and we're done.

Aside from Spying (which is great), does anyone else find the early black-and-white films disappointly twee and insubstantial?
I rather like the 70's films - At Your Convenience, Up The Jungle, Girls, Abroad, Dick, Behind etc. Many say that like the Hammer films the classic period was the 60's but the early 70's movies were always reliable fare.

To me they're like James Bond, born in the 50's and best in the 60's i.e 64-69. Some were ok afterwards but they backed themselves into a stylistic dead end even more quickly than Bond.
