Jeez. There's no way to make a choice. They're all deeply, deeply fucked up organizations. But you kind of have to expect that when your mission is to deliver violence on a scale designed to cripple whole nations. It is amazing they are not more psychotic than they are.

my best friend was in the navy for a few years; he told me that like half of the enlisted people in the navy were doing it to work off drug offenses and such (like himself). i'm sure that "half" is an exaggeration ...

anyway since i'm from a navy town ...

I know the Marine Corps are, administratively, part of the Navy, but I think they should've gotten their own entry. They definitely have the best song. Voting Navy.
