Why has the page that actually contains my incoming mail been refusing to load for the last 24 hours or so? It just times out...I can see my mail previewed in the stupid little box, but I can't actually get to it to read it. I've tried switching browsers, but still no luck.
And does anyone know an address I can write to at Yahoo in order to redress this problem?

This seems to be a constant problem with Yahoo. My Yahoo mail box refuses to open like once in a week or two. You'd think a company of that size could make it mail service run smoother?

my yahoo account, which i've had for like 10+ years but don't actively use anymore, has been sending out spam so i decided it was time to shut it down. first i wanted to send a bulk email to everyone in my address book to give my gmail address, but yahoo wouldn't let me send it because they thought i might be trying to send spam (to people in my address book?). then i found out that if i close my yahoo account, my flickr account is automatically deleted. so now i have to keep this shitty account that i don't use for anything that's sending out spam.

I went through pretty much exactly the same thing about a year ago, its really annoying to have to keep an unwanted account around like that. On the plus side, the account seemed to stop sending out spam after a couple weeks or so.
