While waiting in line for some lebanese takeout the other week I spotted an adult-ed brouchure that advertised, "Hip Hop for All Ages" right beneath a magic class. Frightening.

Yeah, this was the *grumble* event of the day. Thing is, of course, I don't think anyone would mind the idea of folks of all ages getting into hip-hop and all, it's the whole 'Up With People' style glop surrounding this thing that annoys. One can be inspirational, etc. or can feel inspiration etc. from it all without Lifetime Channel bathos.
