computer help required

Kids, as of Thursday, my regular computer access goes up the swanny. Which leads to the simple fact that I need a computer of my own. Obviously, being a tax dodging skinflint, I don't want to pay much money. How cheap can I get get a pooter for that will get me netted up and let me play championship manager/ sim type games. Some music capability would be nice but is no way essential.

I think computers start at around £700 new these days. If you look around, there are probably some good deals out there...Would you consider the second hand market?

If you aren't concerned about having a Pentium processor, you can get a PC with a Celeron processor for a lot less money.

You could probably get a factory refurbished PC for a couple of hundred quid, most of the expense would be in installing an OS/office suite etc. Try morgan computers for starters.

Check the Mirror - these deals start tomorrow in ...Lidl ! - if i woz in the market for a new PC - I would snap the offer up.
