In the right corner we have an anthropomorphic mouse with a squeaky voice.

Donald clearly beats Mickey with a very large stick.

Cartoon version of Donald: some amusing psychotic episodes, but like all Disney characters, he can't carry a cartoon on his own. they have to drag in some peripheral characters like Chip and Dale to provide the actual jokes. ironically, Donald started out being one of these characters. the point is that, outside of their longer features, Disney characters just aren't very interesting, especially if you compare them to the great Warner Bros. cartoons of the day.
Comic book version of Donald: as drawn by Carl Barks, one of the best comic writer-artists of the century, Donald's much more interesting and almost unrecognizable as his cartoon counterpart. as a bonus, these stories introduced other great characters like Uncle Scrooge.
so, the winner is clearly Donald.

To do the Donald (or even generic duck) noise, press the front of your tongue against the roof of your mouth, then force air out of your mouth via one or both cheeks. This doesn't enable you to actually make any recognisable words, but it's good fun. Apologies if everyone else knoew how to do this before, only better.
I do Donald's voice out the side of my mouth btw.

allegedly Daffy's voice is an imitation of some executive in Warner Bros. When he saw the first Daffy Duck cartoon he exclaimed "that'th really funny! where'd you get the idea for the thcwewy voithe?"
allegedly.
In Finland Huey, Dewey, and Louie are called Hatti, Latti, and (I think) Matti.
Who's smarter: Goofy or Pluto?
I think the creation of Pluto and Goofy was specifically designed to create philosophical turmoil in the minds of young children. Further evidence of an intent to cause mental harm is the fact that Pluto is named after the Roman Lord of Hell. This is why Pluto is cool. Disney dogs are much better than the other animals, except for that awful Goof Troop nonsense.

I once heard that Donald was banned in Finland because he didn't wear any pants. Can anyone corroborate this?

Don't fret -- Pluto was actually named after the planet was discovered and itself named. Still, yes, the Roman Lord of Hell.

this cannot be true. Donald is very popular in Finland.
I once asked a Finnish person about Donald Duck, and she told me that Huey Duey and Louie are called Hatti Latti and Matti in Finland. Or something like that.

"Mickey is just the Michael Jackson of the cartoon world."
Not anymore...
Still, this was slightly amusing 'cause I remember the late 80s Mickey birthday special guest starring the Disney pantheon and the casts of Family Ties and Cheers in which the magician Mickey played apprentice to in Fantasia magically causes everyone everywhere/Disneyworld/80s daytime comedy to fail to recognise him sparking off a 'worldwide search' for him, while he hit on Kirsty Alley and made Ted Danson envious and later there's a dance number where he goes "Aoowwww!" and moonwalks. It was great. Still, I can see why Mike prefers Peter Pan.
