Those who believe that a President Obama will be able to form a new USA policy by overturning every Bush administration policy will be disappointed.
Those who forget that a President Obama must coax the votes for any new laws or appropriations among representatives of rural and suburban constituencies will be disappointed at the compromises he must make.
Those who forget that the USA government puts a premium on the diffusion of power, preservation of the status quo, and protection of property rights over personal rights, will be disappointed.
Those who watched carefully as month after month George Bush destroyed the country and compare Obama to the likely horrors of McCain's erratic decison making and appetite for military adventurism, will not be disappointed when Obama delivers a fairly consistently moderate and reasoned set of policies and a cautious set of new initiatives.
