its also true that george gossett has cool hair. also george if you see this hamish told me to say hi to you but i was going to tell u in person cos i thought you were going to visit lisa's place today but you didn't. ooops hamish i forgot to say hi to ricko for you, its the weather in this town i swear its been raining since i got here and i don't like talking to people when its raining. i don't like christchurch, did i mention? its really ugly although lyttleton is okay cos its like dunedin except wetter and foggier. and there is a nice view from sumner but all those ugly big authoritative overlord style houses spoil it somewhat. i'm glad i'm coming home tomorrow cos i miss liz and hamish and duckling and steve and menelaus darcy. i won't get to say goodbye to angeline tomorrow. :-( but we have a stereo in the van. liz i am sorry you and dean have been deprived of the television, i promise its coming back real soon!

I like the Affectionate Punch, more than I used to; I've been listening to it lately. Mind you I suspect things sound better these days because I am miserable so music is more of a refuge.

Thanks for letting us know etc. I had many discussions -- really arguments with him :-( -- a long time ago. Just something I've wanted to forget as we liked the same things.
