Maybe I could have had her sing on my song, but I wimped out... :(

I had a slight moment of being starstruck after walking over from my house to the PCC in ******* a few hours ago to do a little shopping..(PCC is a Northwest hippie market co-op, for those of you outside the NW). As I was checking out, I found myself behind Heather Lewis, who used to play drums and occasionally sing for Beat Happening. She also did a lot of neat dreamy vocals for various songs by Land Of The Loops. Anyway, I'm working on an electronic pop song where her style of singing would be a PERFECT match, and I was hoping to find somebody who could sing like her to contribute to it. So it was a little weird finding myself being behind the very role model I was aiming to ape. There would be no way I could have asked her to sing without coming out really creepy ("Hi! I'm a fan of yours. Sing on my song." yeah, right) so I wimped out and did nothing.

:(

MESSAGE TO MODERATOR:

It was probably poor judgement to pinpoint the exact market in question, in case of honestly creepy googling indie rock girl stalkers. So could you delete the "in *******" above in the passage? Thanks, and apologies.
