Cheer Up!

I feel kinda lethargic and annoyed today. So, cheer me up, please. State whether you require cheering up to, so then this can be a general cheering up thread.

I'm happy, but I need to get rid of this cold.

Jel! Jamie Redknapp played for a half without getting injured, surely cause for rejoicing?

I have just found out that when I leave my current work (in two and a half weeks time) I am going to be replaced by a fresh faced school leaver! This will probably cheer up some of you, but it leaves me needing to be cheered up.

Davel, Tuesday, 23 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I am very happy, but Jel you need to cheer up because there will be nothing but gloom for Spurs when the season starts!

Haha only messing, just keep on trucking and something good will happen, I have faith.

Cheer up, Jel! How can Spurs fail to do well this season, with their occasionally fit midfield and zimmer-framed attack? How can anything go wrong with Anderton partnering Redknapp every game, and Teddy and Les up front?

Imagine you are lazing in a lovely swimming pool...

thanks y'all!!!!! :)

don't forget the spurs have that wicked new slovenian player (whose name I can't spell) and the potential x-factors of rebrov (who won't be sold, and may well decide to play if hoddle lets him) and iversen (who scores goals when he's not crook).

Cheer up Davel! Are you being willinging replaced? If so, then don't worry about it.

cheer up jel, spurs have saved you 40 quid - becoz the new Spurs shirt looks well naff with rounded neck style.

Unfortunately you'll be miserable on the 7th August, cos Celtic are going destroy Spurs.

But I'll be ecstatically happy!

Vicky, Tuesday, 23 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

As an Irishman I passively support Celtic and want this to happen.

Ronan, Tuesday, 23 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Good cheer for all, I say. :-) I need a little more good cheer to take care of my noxious headache, though. :-/

Trying to think of an instance where I told someone to cheer up and they didn't immediately cheer up. It's like medicine made from words.
