I think any friends who are this crap at emails may not be worth having anyway, but I don't expect I really believe that. Still, maybe I do - I never get sent these things except at work by one man, and he is a bit pitiful so I am kind to him and don't abuse him for the stupid fucking forwards. This is very different from friendship, obv.

YES. well, this depends on the kind of friend. If it's someone you really like as a person and a friend, maybe a wee word to them to reduce the volume of their mass-Fwds would be better than throwing in the friendship's towel. But schoolfriends/old workmates/other 'friends of circumstance' are not always worth the amount of attatchment- folder-cluttering they cause. I know, i got send a dozen cutesy angel pics yesterday from one such friend-or-aquaintance whom i all but actively avoid IRL. angels! cutesy! dire indeed. these people need yr guidance, not teeth-gritted acceptance.
