It's been ooo ages since we had a picture thread that ended with a picture of a man's gaping anus, so here's your chance. (PLEASE DO NOT POST THAT PICTURE). Anyway this went some way to cheering me up just now...

katie, Thursday, 25 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

sorry Katie -- you were lovely. ha ha, a kitten... and in a pint glass! genius. i am just being a miserable sod, and not wanting to talk about food, books or spelling any more. pub is beckoning, and yet still nothing resolved here (to my knowledge)

Alan T, Thursday, 25 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Alan is confused in that he should know by now that it is his role on ILX to cheer all of us up with delightful and hilarious pictures - as indeed he does on this very thread, as ever. If anyone else starts rivalling Alan at this he should call us out on strike over a demarcation dispute.

To my eternal amusement that Blunkett head timed it's rotation precisely to the snare of the record I was listening to at the time. The man has rhythm.

I have just realised how very much I want to read the above books - especially My Purple Winter.

halo halo, Friday, 26 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

thank you thank you thank you. rotating heads always rock, whether in owls or blunketts. oddly enough "Run, Lez, Run" would be a good title for the book launch I was at this week!
