does 1997-98 really seem that long ago?

It's been 4-5 years, but for me it just seems like yesterday. maybe because so much hasn't HAPPENED to me in these years as from 1993-97. doesn't the amount of incidents occuring heighten the perspective of time passing?

does it seem long ago to you?

i meant to say, that i guess it's all relative. but a year is a year, so how do some years seem so long ago, and others seem like you could go back to them instantly, if you just closed your eyes?

God, it seems so long ago to me. 1997-98 I was still in highschool.

It seems like a while. Last year of university. I don't think I've done nearly enough with my life since I left uni, well apart from go back to uni. But, you know oh well, I'm all about taking it easy now.

1996 is 4 years ago to me, until I do the math. I think my life stopped in sixth grade, that's when everything interesting ceased happening.

I keep thinking I graduated from college a couple of years ago instead of seven years ago. It's disorienting.

Ah, young people, heed the voice of, well, not so much wisdom as decrepitude: time passes more and more quickly as you get older. By next month, I will already be in the year 2003.
