Who else, and also I think Dr. Kaku just might have some overexposure right now (challops I'm sure...). Does Roger Penrose still show up on TV? He's pretty great. He's so old he was once a Popular Scientist on the Radio.

Well Sagan broke the mold, everyone else is just moldy to varying degrees... I'd like to focus on currently alive people in this thread though.

He'll do shit like go on Coast to Coast AM and then be really mean and condescending to the people who call in... its like uh, ur on C2CAM these people get their news from Alex Jones have a little fuckin' patience....

He's also very proud of the fact that he made Pluto not a planet. As an ex-UU and an NMSU alum he makes my blood boil!

Anyone know if Freeman Dyson did a lot of TV spots? He's basically my all time favorite scientist. Unless you want to consider Buckminster Fuller as an actual scientist.

i gotta admit that i'm a bill nye fan because i grew up watching his show, and also he once led a group of people (including me) on a guided tour around ithaca to talk about the relative distances between each planet in the solar system. he was very nice and kind and funny!
