One tattoo. Have a wild hair to get a couple more, but I can't budget for them at the moment.

multiple piercings, ears gauged, one tattoo, but i let all the piercings close up because i kept losing the jewelry, and i am lazy, and i am an old old man and didnt want to be that guy

I have zero tattoos but I feel like a heavily tattooed person on the inside. I don't know. Maybe someday I'll do something about that.

The ones I've had since I was a kid that were done with Claire type guns are so stretched out they're basically just slits and my piercer friend has mentioned getting me to let him put plugs but I'm not into for myself at all.

I currently have a hollow-needled earring and at one point had my nostril pierced, but it's gone, but I still voted "multiple"

wait..sorry to be a doofus, but what does a brand mean, exactly? it counts scars? if so, i split my lip last year (or rather, a stranger did me the honor of splitting it for me) and i have a scar. so i'm branded?

hey eric just fyi, doing a gauged piercing through a location that has already been gun pierced can kind of suck because of the cartilige build up from a puncture piercing. its possible, i am living proof, but it's kind of a painful bitch to do.

also i guess i don't know how to spell cartilige and i dont care

I used to have a lot of piercings including stretched ears but got rid of them all cause yeah I'm old

I also don't really feel like I have a lot of tattoos compared to a lot of people, but then I realize that have more than anyone I interact with on a regular basis. My left arm is probably 2/3 covered, and eventually the right one will be as well.

Wait, I voted "f", but I'm actually an "f+j". Had a septum piercing and a tongue piercing, both of which are long since gone.

Multiple tattoos (though feel similar to joygoat about them - they don't seem like a big deal until somebody I work with catches a glimpse and is like "You have TATTOOS??!??!?!?").

Had multiple piercings - lip, nose, hollow needle piercings up and down my ears - but let them all close up. I had the nose ring until I graduated law school and then sold out so I could get a real job.

I can't imagine I would ever get anything else pierced but I have two specific tattoos I would like to add one of these days when I have the money and can't think of something more pressing to do with it.

Like, all of my tattoos are getting pretty old and I see fresh (not scabby fresh, just within the last couple years fresh) tattoos on people and they are so bright and pretty and colorful and I get really envious.

My concern about getting more tattoos is that with the one I've got, I'm constantly being asked by strangers trying to guess its meaning. I definitely hadn't expected that side-effect. I probably wouldn't ask somebody about the origins of their tattoo unless we were at least drinking beers together. So if I get another tattoo, will twice as many people want to ask me? Or will it dilute that effect?

at a certain point you go from 'normal person with a token on their skin' to 'circus freak' and people just assume they're all meaningless
