Life

Another thing I've noticed here is people using "life" as though it were a good thing. Why should it be? Isn't life just an excuse to excuse ourselves from facing the issues? It just seems kinda lame to imply that life is, somehow, like, vital. Schopenhauer wouldn't have agreed.

I'm not saying that everyone who lives shouldn't, so long as they live my life. Because if that's the case, how come I have no life whatsoever and I see the real rationale? I must slash my wrists and investigate. See you pretenders later.

I thought this would be about the board game. Has anyone played the modernized version? It's very sad...the cars look more like SUVs, and there are squares that say things like, "Your dot-com company went bust. Pay the bank $1000."

My motto as an adolescent: "Life sucks but consider the alternative."

I went to a Steve Jones (geneticist, not the drummer) lecture yesterday. He revealed that men who get castrated live, on average, 13 years longer. I therefore plan to wait until I am almost dead, and trade in my testicles for an extra thirteen years. I have this life stuff worked out.
