Don't both examples so far contain three words which all mean the same thing? Dreamy, fluffy and ethereal are essentially synonymous in music criticism. Same goes for deadpan, wry and ironic.

I don't agree, Eyeball Kicks. Nick Drake for example is often dreamy but neither fluffy nor ethereal.
