and then radio starts playing their stuff and reviewers talk about lyrics and Felix da Housecat does a dance mix of one of the songs off the album because Q didn't read all the fine print before signing the contract and so he missed the clause that explains how the label reserves the right to remix & release as they see fit and so he throws a proper public tantrum about how they're messing with his stuff and he doesn't like it and neither does the rest of the band only the remix is really popular in the clubs and does especially well in Montreal where Dave Q despite his protestations becomes something of a local club icon and then he plays a show in Montreal and it completely sells out and is widely bootlegged under various titles and snobs keep insisting that the bootleg of the Montreal show is actually better than the full-length although really it isn't.
