SOMETIMES THE BOTTOM FEELS LIKE FISH

Let me tell you straight away;
sometimes the bottom feels like fish
It's more or less the same immediate sensation
when the reel stops and that
clutch-device on the snelle does its little routine;
you hold your breath a little bit
or maybe make a little "o"-shape with your mouth
and if it turns out to just be the bottom
which, depending on where you're fishing, of course,
often is the case,
then you breathe out again
and start preparing to do some
pulling and slacking for a while
and, again, depending on where you're fishing,
the consistence of the humus-layers on the bottom
and the presence of rocks and stuff like that,
sooner or later you will be facing the only remaining alternative,
to cut the line.
Pretty lame, but what can you do.
Happens all the time, especially with your favourite-sluk,
because that's the one you're most likely to be using.
Also, especially if you're fishing in a lake where you know
that there's supposed to be some big-ass fish,
over 1 kilo,
then it'll take a little longer to determine whether it's
the bottom or a big-ass 1-kilos trout
One, two seconds may pass
and you're still not quite sure
and then if the sluk loosens again,
you always end up swearing
and telling everybody how you you lost a really big one,
but deep inside you know that it could might as well have
been the weed on the bottom
But who wants to give up a semi-interesting remark
for some boring facts that might not be facts at all
but are definitely boring?
It's hard to tell, because
