i love when people try to tell me that the velvet underground were pretentious. and then i play them "temptation inside your heart" and their heads pop open at the idea that they actually had a sense of humour.

Did you ever play the Flipper board game that came with the album called...I forget. But it was a monopoly-like game, and you would draw cards that said things like "P.I.L. steals your idea and issues a 'Generic' album four years after you do. Go back three spaces."
