Mutiny UK--ILM connection?

I know Gareth has mentioned Mutiny UK on the board four times (because I searched! hah!) but I got an advance of their album (sounds good so far, on track two) and I noticed on the sticker it sez: "'If you like Basement Jaxx and Daft Punk, you'll love Mutiny UK'--I [heart] Music"

Is this us? I can't see that quote anywhere on here. Is there a different I Love Music that the quote could've been from? And if it is from the boards, does that mean anyone who wants the ILM stamp of approval can just sign up, say something once, never appear again, and use it? Oh the possibilities....

Is the album out? Are Mutiny UK the same as just Mutiny? I presume they had to change their name. Is Ya'Self on the album? I really like Ya'Self, it's a (are you listening guys) real panicky set opener type tune with a bassline that says listen to what stickers on albums tell you.

For what it's worth I think Medicine8 are similar but far better. Download Ape Can't Kill Ape or Capital Rocka if anyone's interested.

It's out at the end of January. I have an advance because I'm reviewing it. And there's nothing on here called "Ya'self," so it might not be the same people. The song Gareth is big on (for good reason) is called "Secrets"

Odd, it would be weird if there were two Mutinys both making dirty house music.....the Ya'Self single was on Darren Emerson's Underwater label so I guess if the album isn't then it's different people. I also recall a song which was listed as Mutiny UK called King Virus or something like that? It was pretty good, touches of Lil Louie French Kiss though.

I don't think I'll like it :)

re: the sticker, people should know that at I Love Music, people also talk about dogs, peanut butter and lickings.

Download Ape Can't Kill Ape

At first I read this as a song title. A wonderful song title.

I think it's good, I mean it's not a huge tune or anything but it's a good dj trick and the first few times it's excellent.
