That'd be Bradford, Leeds and York, preferably.
Ideas, anyone?

York has TRACK which is less great than it was but is still okay and Leeds has JUMBO which is pretty uninspiring and you're probably better off with HMV and Virgin in both cases and I don't really know Bradford. Handyhandy hints appreciated by myself here also.

leeds: jumbo has gone gradually downhill, but is still ok, much better than the ridiculuosly bad Crash anyway, theres a couple of decent 2nd hand shops, one in the merrion (or is it the st john? i forget, the one that doesnt have jumbo in, you know, the one with the phono in)
the other is, erm, just up from the north bar, on the other side of the road
york: depthcharge used to be a thing of wonder, but isnt so good now. Track, well, its not great. theres on in donny too, no?
bradford. hahahahahaah! this is a joke right?
halifax: has a good 2nd hand shop in the piece hall but is on the pricey side, a rarities rather than a bargains place but infinitely better than the terrible Vinyl Tap in leeds for that market
wouldnt you be better off just going to manchester?

bradford. hahahahahaah! this is a joke right?Heh, I assume you're from Bradford, then? Is it really that worthless? I've never really been to the UK before, and I'm visiting a friend in Bradford the first week of January. Will definitely be going to Manchester as well, so if you have any suggestions, by all means, let me know!

Well if you're going to Manchester, Avalanche was pretty magnificent when I was there earlier this year.

Depth Charge is long gone from Gillygate, Gareth.

try huddersfield. quick train from leeds, much cooler than bradford. has a great little shop on the top floor of an arcade, though the name escapes me. beat record shop in yorkshire though, mountains of vinyl, plenty of cheap 2nd handers. nothing to manchester standards, though, unfortunately.
