Amy Grant/Vince Gill: Classic or Dud?

I just sang a Holiday Pops concert featuring solo and duet performances by Amy Grant and Vince Vaughn. Vince had the better voice and better material, but both were extremely FATIGUING to sit through because there were TOO MANY BALLADS. Between the two of them, they've won over 20 Grammys.

Is there a context where you enjoy either of these artists? Could you even name three of their songs (because I realized that, between the two of them, I could only remember "Baby Baby")?

I get to go back and sing the concert again in 2 hours. WHEE.

They keep playing up their marriage on stage. It's endearing and awful.

Vince Gill has a great voice. I will say that. Also, he joined Pure Prairie League when they were at their worst (the equivalent of being tapped as the new percussionist for Styx nowadays, or something).

When I first read this thread title, I thought it said:

"Amy Grant/Vince NEIL"

....to which I marvelled...."DAMN, WHAT A COLLABORATION! Bible-informed, stripper-pole hair metal with a countryesque twang!"

Gill's hit "Pretty Little Adriana" was a nice breath of fresh air a few years back - he does have a lovely voice, and nimble fingers, too, if that's him pickin'.
