'Sfumato' is one of my favourites. Twisted, haunting and surprising even after the nth listen. I don't know if it's Ambre's merit though.
'A Peripheral Blur' is nice too, but it could be all about Plotkin.
So... what about Mark Spybey's solo output?

Sfumato's the one he did /w Amber, right? I remember hushush put out a whole series of collaborations. I think I had the Mick Harris one but I sold it. I remember it being pretty good. Piss Frond is decent if a little inconsistent. It's a bit more "song oriented" than anything else he's done. I love the Propeller album with the piss stained metal packaging. I haven't heard the other Proppeler, though. Shap is great. I love the track he did, "Glae Bastards", off of the Paradigm Shift comp. Avoid the "Frankie Pett Meets The Submarine People" album, or whatever it's called. It's not so hot.
