A dick and a dork, I meant to say.

Oh, and what happens if I take back my sampler? You can vocode all you want over the top of some dr. rhythms. You have fun with that. Thppt.
Oh, and does anybody know of any good rehearsal space in the DC area? Thanks.

...ehh. Don't take back the sampler, man, I'm just about to get my set-up together. I know, the beats I put together on it are corny and cliche'd, but I NEED it right now.
You can take back the joystick synth and the ER1 though, I can't do a damn thing with'em. I guess I need to read the manuals or something. I work way less efficiently with buttons and LEDS than I do with frets and pedals.

From across the room I spotted a man who looked almost exactly like one of the members of Styx who seemed to be a synth master. No words were exachanged between us, but silently we both knew it: it was a synth-off. We each took turns churning out crazy Korg-sound, one after the other. I don't know if there was a clean winner, but God, I need the money to buy one of those. Actually all of them, I want them all.

I used to have a Virus B, but I sold it awhile back. It was a cool board, but definitely not the least bit analogue. I found that I used it more for really aggressive and cold sounds. It seems very Pan Sonic to me. I was doing a lot of harsh minimal ambient when I owned it. It never really was lush, but it was always hard and in your face. I miss it, but not that much.
Now Native Instruments FM7; that's some shit right there!

Anyway, sweet dude. I've played one of those MS2000s for about 3 hours straight once, I've never been satisfied with my own synths since.
