Marcello, there is nothing wrong with Blogger, your archives are all right there. If they ever disappear, just go into the "archive" part of the 'edit your blog' thing, and republish everything. Very simple, anyone can understand it. It's not Blogger's fault.

I'm moving whether you like it or not. Fuck your apartheid. And don't bother emailing me either.

P.S. You will hit me for this and you are probably right, Marcello but could it be that you are slightly paranoid? Blogger doesn't have PR guys. Blogger's PR guys are their users. And they are not paid by anyone. Or did you pay for blog, Marcello? How can you demand anything from Blogger? You own them something and they don't own you anything.
BTW I have never seen archives disappear at Blogger. Only the links to them disappear...

(However there is still a problem with November).
The problem with the November issue and updating the current template to ALSO feature on previous months archives (something I prefer) - has been a problem since November - this has been widely communicated within the yahoo group linked to on status.blogger.com.
Yes in normal circumstances If they ever disappear, just go into the "archive" part of the 'edit your blog' thing, and republish everything. it would work.
But the current problems are far more complex ! with missing archives in the "back end" of blogger - when publishing all archives - I have about 18 months missing, so I can't do my preferred update to reflect current template in the old months archives !
I manually link my archives on my blog - so people can still access the previous months, though.
[Marcello, pyra blogger only consists of 2 people Ev and Jason. They don't have a PR department ! ]
I would like Marcello to continue as well as I have enjoyed reading The Church of Me in 2002.

I've been running my blog on Blogger for about a year now, and I've never had any problems save for brief minor server errors which are the equivalent of a power outtage or your cable going out for an hour. It's no big deal. If you want to upgrade, presumably to Moveabletype, that's cool. But don't dis Blogger - they do a very good job, and I think they very seldom fuck up.
