Clearly in the battle for teen pop supremacy SAW come out victorious (ditto vs Spector but that's another thread...)What do you guys think? Are Neptunes genius producers and SAW merely pop svengalis with only 1 backing track? For the Indie Guiltees at the time; how did SAW's production merits match up to the Neptunes ie did SAW sound equally as NOW (or THEN) as the Neptunes do (or did rather) today

a) they're young and hip (it seems SAW NEVER actually were themselves)
b) they're even more economical what with the minimal production style
c) they've really brought the concept of superstar producer fully into the media consciousness for the first time since Spector era?
d) tracks like 'Grindin' and 'Caught Out There' actually blow people's minds in ways not even 'Roadblock' did it seems
e) they're more prolific than SAW i swear - they seem to curn it out more than SAW did in that hazy '85-'89 period
f) just cooler music dammit!
