These two albums are in every single fucking sale ever, including ones in, like, B&Q. Why?

"Tracy Chapman" is one of the ultimate "Bought this at an Esso (or B+Q!) just for the car" CDs. That and any Oasis. "Transformer" has Perfect Day on it, and everyone like that.

When it was released, Tracy Chapman's first album provided a real sense of relief compared to every other musician who was popular at the time. Great lyrics, melody lines, and overall production. I still listen to it and it still sounds just as good. Can't say the same for many other eighties records.
