I only listen to music because it works as a laxative. If I'm not constipated, I don't bother.

Not a big fan of Cranberries or Skunk Anansie then I take it?

This week, I think me. I'm sick of it right now.

Dan Perry! He prefers music theory to music.

(sorry, bad totally uncalled for joke...)

No, I win, I haven't actually sat down and listened to anything since January 3rd, and the radio lately just pisses me off no end.
I'm getting next to no enjoyment out of music lately. In fact the only things I've taken relish in since returning from the holidays are sleep, central heating, and the occasional cigarette. Winter is god-awful.

" I've taken relish in since returning from the holidays are sleep, central heating, and the occasional cigarette."

I misread that as "SHEEP, central heating and....", which gave me pause.

In terms of enjoying music, I'm in the process of a very unpleasant move (from 12th street to 9th street) and our new neighbors are already complaining about the noise (...and we haven't even MOVED IN yet), based on the amount of bumps and bangs on our as-yet-uncarpeted floor. Just wait `till we get the stereo in there, then I'm sure sparks are gonna fly and music will become more tougher to enjoy than ever (although probably tougher for THEM! Hahahahaha!)

Dude, I only pretend to like music.

i started asking everyone at work (i work at a radio/tv station) what their favourite record of last year was. no one could answer me. I asked them because i can't think of any myself (apart from the st***ts, of course). I'm sliding downhill. i look into my cd cupboard, scan the titles. i look again. I know that one's a classic. and that one. I love that one. But i don't want to hear it. theres nothing i want to buy. nothing i want to download. theres a cd player sitting on my desk silently. maybe i only ever thought i loved music, or pretended to. what did i ever hear in it?

Shakey wants a SHAKING!

(God, that's not gonna go over well on the playground...)

The funny thing is that I looked at this thread to see if someone was going to say me, and BINGO! :-)
