This guys insane ramblings kept me amused and reminded me of someone. Probably the biggest nutter I've heard.

Check out the rest of ubu.com as it has a hell of a lot of excellent material on it from writers, poets etc. who aren't wacko. The Dial-A-Poem stuff is fantastic and there is quite a bit of audio from the Nova Convention.

lynskey: try henri chopin (he's the god of this stuff), he's not a ranter but 'blows candles' (oh yes). I love ubu, its a good site which has all this out of print (maybe not even released) stuff.

There are some phenomenal LPs on algha marghen of this stuff (and the box set, some of which i must tape for an ILXOR ho ho).

I've found that the opening rant from that set (the recording of which was read by a DJ, not the man himself, yes?) works rather nicely when played over the latter part of Kraftwerk's "Trans-Europe Express / Metal On Metal". I think I started it at about the 5:00 mark in T-E.E.
