Nicole Roland, Tuesday, 4 February 2003 16:45 (twenty-three years ago)

what????

Horace Mann (Horace Mann), Tuesday, 4 February 2003 16:53 (twenty-three years ago)

You always try to pee on the parade. You're disrespectful and you don't follow any sort of etiquette and your grammar is atrocious. Everything you have to say is either negative or that stupid helmet picture.

Nicole Roland (Horace Mann), Tuesday, 4 February 2003 17:01 (twenty-three years ago)

yeah!

jess (dubplatestyle), Tuesday, 4 February 2003 17:03 (twenty-three years ago)

(i think the part about grammar is my fav)

jess (dubplatestyle), Tuesday, 4 February 2003 17:04 (twenty-three years ago)

kick him in the nuts nicole!

Julio Desouza (jdesouza), Tuesday, 4 February 2003 17:09 (twenty-three years ago)

I'm still boggling over this thread.

mark p (Mark P), Tuesday, 4 February 2003 17:10 (twenty-three years ago)

hey!

Horace Mann (Horace Mann), Tuesday, 4 February 2003 18:18 (twenty-three years ago)

kick him in the nuts nicole!

Kicking yourself in the nuts is pretty hard, Julio. He could try punching, perhaps?

Sean Carruthers (SeanC), Tuesday, 4 February 2003 18:23 (twenty-three years ago)

yeah Horace, you used to be all abou the PLUR!
When did [email protected] person show up anyways.

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Tuesday, 4 February 2003 18:33 (twenty-three years ago)

uh...longtime listener/first time caller?

Nicole Roland (Horace Mann), Tuesday, 4 February 2003 18:37 (twenty-three years ago)

Try again?

Sean Carruthers (SeanC), Tuesday, 4 February 2003 18:46 (twenty-three years ago)

Nicrace Rolmann (Horace Mann), Tuesday, 4 February 2003 18:48 (twenty-three years ago)

Would you believe I had to Google PLUR?

Horace Mann (Horace Mann), Tuesday, 4 February 2003 19:07 (twenty-three years ago)

bob log hasn't been enjoyable since doo rag.

i liked thermos better anyway.

</typical indie elitism>

gygax!, Tuesday, 4 February 2003 19:12 (twenty-three years ago)

I was just listening to What We Do last night. I hadn't for like a year, and WOW, Doo Rag > Bob Log by a lot.

Horace Mann (Horace Mann), Tuesday, 4 February 2003 19:15 (twenty-three years ago)

hehe... they were great live.

OSCILLAT... [long pause] ....TOR... [vacuuming sounds]

gygax!, Tuesday, 4 February 2003 19:17 (twenty-three years ago)

But Bob Log 111 is still good, sleazy fun.
"Hey, you've got your boob in my scotch!"

Horace Mann (Horace Mann), Tuesday, 4 February 2003 19:18 (twenty-three years ago)

Would you believe I had to Google PLUR?

I believe you, if it was for some random googler showing up and starting the hippiest of threads here I'd have no clue.
Stop blaming ravers for drug use!

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Tuesday, 4 February 2003 19:43 (twenty-three years ago)

Do Ravers even exist anymore, except in the sense that, say, Beatniks still exist?

Horace Mann (Horace Mann), Tuesday, 4 February 2003 20:29 (twenty-three years ago)

Horace how old are you?

mark p (Mark P), Tuesday, 4 February 2003 20:39 (twenty-three years ago)

Oil of Olay (i.e., how old do you think I am?)

Horace Mann (Horace Mann), Tuesday, 4 February 2003 20:42 (twenty-three years ago)

Sadly, they still do.
(Don't mind my bitterness, I spent a long 5 years fighting them in NB since they holed themselves up in a nice spot at the student pub.)

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Tuesday, 4 February 2003 21:03 (twenty-three years ago)

But is it still a movement (as in bowel), do they still believe that they can dance war and hunger off the planet? Or are they just party nuts?

Horace Mann (Horace Mann), Tuesday, 4 February 2003 21:07 (twenty-three years ago)

Well there are hippies in every movement. Take Le Tigre for instance. I'd hate to think shes the party line for rockists. The ones I knew were party nutz and e poppers turning into coke heads but I think that had more to do with age and school since many people I knew lost the plot and slid into heavy drinking/smoking at the same time.
It boiled down to my anger at their stubburn refusal to have bands play the student bar because they could make more money selling crap on the side as a dance bar. It got pretty nasty at a local level, they made webpages slamming me for putting down their friends in editorials or forcing their radio djs to play 35% cancon, tried to socialy isolate me, tried blacklisting me from the club, all sorts of stupid university crap.

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Tuesday, 4 February 2003 21:14 (twenty-three years ago)

I think Horace is cool.

Alex in NYC (vassifer), Tuesday, 4 February 2003 22:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Julio Desouza (jdesouza), Tuesday, 4 February 2003 22:08 (twenty-three years ago)

Horace Mann (Horace Mann), Wednesday, 5 February 2003 14:44 (twenty-three years ago)

I'm going to start a band called Horace Breaks the Mood.

My name is Kenny (My name is Kenny), Wednesday, 5 February 2003 15:43 (twenty-three years ago)

Better a mood breaker than a thread killer?

Bryan (Bryan), Thursday, 6 February 2003 18:45 (twenty-three years ago)

Let's see if it still works!

Bryan (Bryan), Thursday, 6 February 2003 18:48 (twenty-three years ago)
