...please cite some album covers with genuinely creepy cover art. I'm not looking for cartoony creepy (like Iron Maiden covers, for example....brilliant though they are), but rather more nitemarish. Like, say, these....

Can't find a scan that relays the creepiness but there's a record on Bell by a guy named John Hurley called "Children's Dreams" that really scared me as a kid. Saw it on an inner sleeve to the Sweet's first US album from back then.

I didn't see it for a long while until it was pointed out to me. Then again I think all MBV covers are really strange that way. For the longest time I thought the cover to the Glider EP was this incredibly weird geometric design.

This one reminds me of the movie "Let them Die Slowly" which is about the creepiest thing I've never seen. (I was traumatized for about 2 weeks by the trailer.)

ON another note, K-Mart sells a version of Tool's "Undetow" with a censored cover - its normal red CG ribcage is just a red glow. What is so offensive/creepy/unsettling about this?
