"Somewhere I Belong" by Linkin Park

So I am to understand that there are persons on this forum who enjoy the music of Linkin Park. How about explaining your positive feelings on the new single from Meteora, "Somewhere I Belong?" I burst out laughing the first time I heard it on the radio, when one singler fills in the singer's rap-gap with the sung lyrics, "I was confused."

I am totally fine w/ the musical portion of the single. I am chagrined by the lyrical content. I am waiting for the instrumental remix album.

I've only heard snippets, but the bits I've heard sounded like gloomy sparkle-pop hidden behind corporate-bred angst. Can't wait to hear the whole thing.

I've yet to hear this although twice on the way home I was on radio stations about to play the song only to have myself get outside their range. Grrr...

i think that 'i was confused' bit is the highlight of a pretty disappointing YOR effort from the squeaky-clean wroksters, it'll make the top 3 tho
