Anyone heard the Freeway album?

wasn't about to pay $18.99 for a CD with Mariah Carey's name on it - anyone heard it? I really, really like all the stuff I've heard - maybe, finally, a mainstream rapper we can rally behind?

FREEWAY - PHILADELPHIA FREEWAY

there's a couple insanely hot tracks ("Flipside" w/ Peedi Crakk and "All My Life" w/ Nate Dogg), a few other potential keepers, plus the singles. it gets a bit blah in the 2nd half, but overall i'd say worth the cash, or the DL if that's your style. i [heart] Freeway. his voice sounds almost pubescently awkward, and he tries to make catchphrases out of stuff like "earrrrly" and "yeah" and "I'M BACK LIKE I LEFT SOMETHIN'", but when he hits the flow it's on.

Don't be scared of Mariah. The "Boy (I Need You)" video reveals her to be so kawaii that she can frolic with tiny pixies, even when she's at work. Anyone can play with elves on their own time; it takes a star of Mariah's caliber to do it the office.

She just wants to sprinkle a little pixie dust in Freeway's neck beard. How could that be wrong?
