I just noticed the other intro post. Likewise, I didn't know an intro was customary.

I'm Matt Powell, a college student (photography and graphic design) in Texas. The miloauckerman name is a throwback to listening to too much Descendents in high school. I just have too many usernames and passwords set up to stop using it.

I listen to almost anything. A lot of alt-country, a lot of early punk, anything with female vocals, and noise-pop.

when i undergradded at UCSD, milo was PhD-candidate-ing in molecular bio. my friend BB and i went to his office hours and goofed off with him, he was really funny. he left the next year for UW-Madison (???), BB and i wish we dropped in on him more (although he probably didn't).
