Which one would it be?

Calum Robert, Sunday, 9 March 2003 13:52 (twenty-three years ago)

can we take up a collection to buy calum a new thought?

mark p (Mark P), Sunday, 9 March 2003 13:56 (twenty-three years ago)

I dunno about that but for twenty quid I'll sell you a sense of humour. Jeez, talk about being so stuff that you should be writing for Sight and Sound...

Calum, Sunday, 9 March 2003 14:01 (twenty-three years ago)

Me so stuff!

N. (nickdastoor), Sunday, 9 March 2003 14:02 (twenty-three years ago)

calum this is like the tenth indie bedwetter bullying thread in the last three months. i'm not stuff, i'm BORED.

mark p (Mark P), Sunday, 9 March 2003 14:06 (twenty-three years ago)

(or is this new because of the whole "gun to yr scrotum" angle? in which case, sorry, i never quite thought of it that way before.)

mark p (Mark P), Sunday, 9 March 2003 14:08 (twenty-three years ago)

I meant 'stuffy'.

Sorry.

I should've written if someone was threatening to make you share a toilet cubical with Jeremy Beadle who was suffering from a severe case of inflamed diarrhea, or you HAD to watch on of the aforementioned three bands what would it be???

Then maybe the seriousness of the situation would have gripped you more.

Calum, Sunday, 9 March 2003 14:25 (twenty-three years ago)

ha ha Jeremy Beadle ha ha diarrhoea hhaaa.

N. (nickdastoor), Sunday, 9 March 2003 14:32 (twenty-three years ago)

Delete ILM Graham.

Graham (graham), Sunday, 9 March 2003 14:41 (twenty-three years ago)

calum what are you doing at the computer - yr future is clearly in comedy.

dude TAKE THAT SHIT ON THE ROAD

mark p (Mark P), Sunday, 9 March 2003 14:44 (twenty-three years ago)

I did stand up comedy for two years. It was making me grow old before my time though, and like any profession that makes you the centre of attention, there are more dicks on the loose backstage than at a swingers party.

Calum Robert, Sunday, 9 March 2003 15:21 (twenty-three years ago)

I can't abide by Stereophonics. The new Coldplay single, "Clocks" is growing on my like a fungus, so I'll go with them and salvage my scrotum.

Alex in NYC (vassifer), Sunday, 9 March 2003 15:27 (twenty-three years ago)

Travis, of course. They're genuinely EVIL while the other two are just misguided. I'm starting to think 'Invisible Band' is the Velvets 3rd album for our age

dave q, Sunday, 9 March 2003 16:29 (twenty-three years ago)

coldplay. you wouldn't need to hold a gun to my scrotum, though, i quite like them...

weasel diesel (K1l14n), Sunday, 9 March 2003 17:33 (twenty-three years ago)

You are all a bunch of heartless bastards. Coldplay and Travis RULE!!
Damn the Brits are good at that acoustic guitar stuff.

Never heard of Stereophonics though.

Evan (Evan), Sunday, 9 March 2003 17:35 (twenty-three years ago)

Coldplay. Though it's tempting to just let them blast off the scrotum. I'd probably get more work done from then on out.

Anthony Miccio (Anthony Miccio), Sunday, 9 March 2003 17:39 (twenty-three years ago)

"scrotum"?

I do not answer such cuntlike questions.

f (felicity), Sunday, 9 March 2003 18:01 (twenty-three years ago)

Which one would it be?

The left one.

It's a touch smaller than the other one and I reckon I could just about get by without it.

mei (mei), Sunday, 9 March 2003 18:51 (twenty-three years ago)

Coldplay

i can still throw stuff at them right?

stevem (blueski), Sunday, 9 March 2003 19:01 (twenty-three years ago)

I'd gladly watch both Travis and Coldplay without having been threatened in any way (prefer Travis). As for Stereophonics, I wouldn't feel too bad about watching them either, if threatened to do so, and the gun towards my head would definitely be the least comfortable part of the gig. :-)

Geir Hongro (GeirHong), Sunday, 9 March 2003 19:02 (twenty-three years ago)

Never heard of Stereophonics though.

You haven't really missed much. And that is said by somebody who agrees wholeheartedly with you when it comes to Coldplay and Travis.

Geir Hongro (GeirHong), Sunday, 9 March 2003 19:04 (twenty-three years ago)

Pro: The Old Calum is Back.
Con: The Old Calum is Back.

Does this mean that Calum is challenging Gier for the position of Alpha Troll?

THIS DISPUTE WILL NOW BE SETTLED WITH GLADITORIAL COMBAT.

Lord Custos Epsilon (Lord Custos Epsilon), Sunday, 9 March 2003 20:21 (twenty-three years ago)

at least all these Schmouldplay threads are giving Avril a break

stevem (blueski), Sunday, 9 March 2003 20:31 (twenty-three years ago)

They've all got songs I like, and songs I absolutely can't abide. If you were making me choose between "Yellow," "Sing," and "Mr. Writer," I'd gladly have that bullet pierce my testicles.

My name is Kenny (My name is Kenny), Sunday, 9 March 2003 20:43 (twenty-three years ago)

you are all so noble

mark p (Mark P), Sunday, 9 March 2003 20:54 (twenty-three years ago)

"Mr. Writer" is Stereophonics' best song.

Geir Hongro (GeirHong), Sunday, 9 March 2003 21:15 (twenty-three years ago)

i do not have a scrotum, but the answer is easy: travis.

di smith (lucylurex), Sunday, 9 March 2003 21:21 (twenty-three years ago)

In America these are all great.

A Nairn (moretap), Monday, 10 March 2003 01:58 (twenty-three years ago)

i wasn't going to have kids anyway, thus none of the above. blast away!
