Is this real or a pipe dream on the writers part?

Michael Jackson doesn't see the difference between "good" and "bad" attention. He's like a three-year-old who knocks over a glass of milk at the breakfast table, oblivious to the consequences of his actions - all that matters is that all attention is on him.

it would help if he made a new song

"it would help if he made a new song"

Michael Jackson's musical output 1990 or so till present makes me say this is a bad idea.

Well, if he managed to come up with something as good as "Stranger In Moscow", then it would be nice enough.

Other than that, Michael Jackson might as well just have moved into his plastic tent after finishing the recording of "Bad", and stayed there.

"five-decade death grip on pop culture" - Since when is 1970 five decades ago?

I just want to know why, with all his clout, he can't get the Neptunes to make something with him as popular as Justin Timberlake's "Like I Luv U"?

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Tuesday, 11 March 2003 21:24 (twenty-three years ago)

i heard that the songs of justin timberlake's album had been intended for jackson...is this true?

robin (robin), Tuesday, 11 March 2003 22:07 (twenty-three years ago)

who would you back?

michael wells (michael w.), Tuesday, 11 March 2003 22:35 (twenty-three years ago)

apparently Jackson rejected an album's worth of material produced for him by the Neptunes - bizarre as they seemed so made for each other

He's waiting for his big break:
Opening for Wayne Newton at the Nugget in fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada!

WILL MICHAEL JUST FUCKING DIE ALREADY??!?!?!?!!!!

IF HE MUST, HE CAN DO IT FOR OUR SINS!

And the Neptunes, being no fools, thought, "Hm, we've got to recycle this SOMEHOW, but where are we going to find somebody ridiculous enough to try a blatantly bad Michael Jackson imitation while still thinking he's the shit?" And the rest followed. ;-)

Ned Raggett (Ned), Wednesday, 19 March 2003 00:24 (twenty-three years ago)

if this was the late '80s the album would be called JUSTIFELDMAN.
