Latino Rockabilly War, RFI

Hey, in all the post-mort Joe Strummer whiz-bang, I've yet to see anything about LRW, the band he led, as far as I know only on the A-Side of the OST to a crappy Keanu Reeves movie called Permanent Record.

It's really good stuff, and I'm wondering if anybody knows about it's availability on CD?

jeez, the one thread I start that isn't about me, and nobody cares.

I'll try to cheer your spirits, Horace. I don't know much of anything about that band (other than I think the guitar player from the Circle Jerks may have been in it), but I really liked the song you're talking about. I believe it was called "Trash City," and somewhere at home I've got a videotape of an old "120 Minutes" where they world-premiered it.

I actually just found my cassette of the Permanent Record sndtrk just before I started this thread. The whole A-Side is Joe Strummer & the Latino Rockabilly War, it's better than Cut the Crap.
The B-Side is mostly toss-off late 80s college rock, the BoDeans, the Godfathers, J.D. South, Lou Reed.
