Are there any other albums to have been either directly (or indirectly) influenced by (or said to have been "influenced" by/"Sound" like) Pepper?

Rhetorical question: Isn't this a thread about album COVERS?
― Paul in Santa Cruz, Friday, 11 January 2008 17:22 (eighteen years ago)
Yeah - I didn't feel like starting a new thread just to ask that stupid question.
― Ioannis, Friday, 11 January 2008 17:27 (eighteen years ago)
Oh yeah, `cos no one ever starts threads here based around stupid questions.

no idea where to put this:
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/music/the-beatles/8867469/Beatles-sleeve-is-worlds-most-valuable-record-cover.html
A Beatles sleeve featuring the faces of music executives in place of the Fab Four has been declared the world's most valuable record cover.
The adapted artwork for their Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band album is valued at around £70,000, according to a new study by Record Collector magazine.
It is one of five Beatles albums in the top 10 of releases which are prized primarily for the collectability of their sleeves...

I'll never forget that day years ago when I was at Goodwill going through records and watched some old collector guy was next to me rifling through Beatles stuff. He suddenly pulled out a Butcher cover and put it in his basket. That bastard knew what it was, and I was _this_ close to knocking him unconscious and taking it.
― Emperor Cos Dashit (Adam Bruneau), Saturday, 5 November 2011 04:30 (fourteen years ago)
I've excitingly found butcher covers only to quickly realize they were repro.s or bootlegs. The only authentic ones I've seen were at record shows at high asking prices.
