Heard this in the gym and I thought it was No Doubt at first because she sounds like Gwen -- anyway the song is pretty catchy. Then I pop on over to AMG and it sez she's CCM?!

I have actualy been a fan of hers for a very long tie and know a lot about her. She is a CCM artist! email if you want to know anything else, I;m a big fan and would be happy to answer any questions so that maybe ou can be a fan too

Anyway, I'm saying classic, and I'm not quite sure why. It's in my top 20 of the year, anyway. I think I may like this song because it sounds a lot like 2000, you can imagine in on the radio after, I dunno, Mary Mary or something. She's a Christian, you know? And about 8.

"(There's Gotta Be) More To Life" is better I think - the shift from moody verses to anthemic choruses isn't as forced as on "Stuck", which sounds like it can't decide whether it wants to be on Pink's first or second album.

I agree with Tim that (There's Gotta) Be More to Life is better, but Stuck's good, too.

Definitely classic, and Stuck > (There's Gotta Be) More To Life for the exact reason Tim stated - I like the awkwardness of that contrast, and the way it doesn't resolve itself until the closing seconds when those Max Martin-esque backing vocals come in ("don't know what to do - I'm STUCK on you!") and it gives itself wholly over to POP. More To Life is a bit more slick, and also reminds me that she's a Xtian, so while still good it's not as classic.

I always forget about POD, but I only started liking them on their last album, and really only "Youth Of A Nation". Evanescence doesn't really count, I don't think, unless every band made up of Christians is CCM.

But also the verses on "More To Life" are more interesting - that dark dubby sound is more appealing to me at the moment than '99-era She'kspere revivalism.

I should listen to the whole album one of these days... it gets really terrible right after the one-two punch of Stuck and More To Life, so I always end up listening to those on endless loop.
