I was at a Broken Social Scene show last night, and they brought out Andy Kim to sing "Baby, How'd We Ever Get This Way?" Kind of astounding.

I did some research, and yes, BSS's Brendan Canning was part of Len once. "Steal My Sunshine" was based on Andrea True's "More, More, More," but it did sound bubblegummy, so I can see the connection you're making.

"Bend Me, Shape Me" isn't strictly bubblegum, but I sort of group it with the Five Americans' "Western Union" and Paul Revere's "Tighter" and other such songs as borderline. They had another good one called "I Don't Think You Know Me."
