AND lives in or near NYC? I hate to push some lame Public Notice shit here but a drummer is sought for recording - little to no money but you'll be on a record with heavy distro and quite a bit of good press - basically seeking a human metronome type (or someone who can fill that role) UNLESS you've got some Susie Ibarra / Guillermo Brown type shit up yr sleeve - contact or post here for more info

i used to play them quite well and i used to live in nyc. if this was posted in 1999....
on the other hand, i am moving back and will take up playing again when i get there. not until july-ish, though.

get in touch anyway - our contract is preventing us from recording at the moment anyway. incidentally, why would anyone move BACK to NY?

I can play pretty well, kinda free-ish sometimes. Not always the best at the human-metronome type stuff. Oh, and I don't have a kit.

hmmm...that might be a setback, but depending on where we choose to record, i may get in touch - you can email me for more details if you want - thanks

There are no drummers in NYC. Just guitarists who "play drums." My band looked FOREVER for a drummer (and found one, oh, but he's an ex-guitar player). You'd be better off trying to poach from other bands!

I wish you lived somewhere near here; I play and own a kit. I'm not flashy on some Neil Peart shit or nothin', but I can keep time with a click-track and can play a bunch of different styles. I don't get to play drums with other people very much these days, I kinda miss it.

also Roger I've got a friend named Max who is a good drummer, and not playing in any bands right now.
