I took my wife who is fairly tolerant of music thats unknown to her to see GBV&BRMC and she made us leave! she hated BRMC sooo much. And thats only happened once before with Man or Astroman. Which I think was more volume related than anything. We were left half deaf for like a week.

how are they a ref to killing joke? ok, well, it's pretty speculative, but something to do with the b-line from 'Eighties'? and it's infamous reappearance in another better-known alt-rock anthem? maybe they think it was a 'disaster'? no clue about the 'matchbox,' tho.
