James rocks

Seeing as we've got a thread about best Steves - Best Steve? (or the lamest thread concept ever) - I thought I'd suggest my theory that the most rock and roll name of all time is, in fact, James.

There are more 'important' James's (yes, I know, rockist thread alert etc) than any other name.

Unless you can suggest otherwise. Or add to this list of great James's:

James Brown
Jimi Hendrix
Jim (Roger) Mcguinn
James Osterberg (Iggy Pop)
Jim Morrison
Jimmy Reed
James Paul McCartney (yes, I know that's stretching it a little)
James Burton
James Chance
James Carr
Jimmy Cliff
Jimmy Page
Jimmy Ruffin
James Jamerson
Jimmy Smith

and if you want to count surnames:
Skip James
Etta James
Rick James

i see. "trust" might be slightly better to start with cos there are one or two fast songs to break things up, but "secret name" is their best...

Goddamnit I was going to say Jimmy Ray.

The Leader of the Pack is named Jimmy, and for some reason this fact also came up in another thread recently. What the hell is that?
