So like this dude whose album I viciously reviewed back three or four or more years ago has put said review on his website.
I probably stand by my opinion, but feel a little embarrassed to see this dude wearing my vitriol for all to see.

if only kevin got a job at AQ and then her albums would be heralded until the end of time...

what's up with the mills rip... meanwhile deerhoof (heavy mills college presence) gets rave AQ reviews... wtf?

gygax! (gygax!), Thursday, 20 March 2003 01:28 (twenty-three years ago)

ha ha ha, but deerhoof arent all icky and sexual like Kevin -- so no pat on the head for her. also, i liked the your butt ep a lot too -- both of the eps she put out last year -- and live, she was ace.

Definitely classic, especially in a kind of "Here's a negative review of our last album from "Glittery Succubus Wound" fanzine, who put King Adora on their cover" way.

I posted a review to Arab on Radar's site that was something along the lines of: "I used to think I was really broad-minded about music. Well, I've found my limit, and it's called Arab on Radar.".

A few years ago, a friend of mine, James Rocchi, got in a heated argument with Bob Pollard at a GBV show. The details of said argument aren't really relevant, but Rocchi's response was. In the local urban weekly, he ripped the band to shreds, writing a scathing review of the GBV show. Called "Never Meet Your Idols," Pollard started reading parts of the article during subsequent shows and eventually posted a linke on GBV.com. While the link's long dead, the do have some quotes from the review in the site's media section.
