RFI: Felt at the NEC

I have recently been given a Felt bootleg which claims to be recorded at the NEC. It doesn't sound very cavernous. Perhaps it is the NEC staff canteen or a slightly overcrowded Maglev. Does anyone know anything about this?

Also, is there a Maglev Appreciation Society or anything? The new version just isn't the same.

Yes.

I saw them at Stafford Futurama. That was cavernous.

Just to clear things up and to avoid trainspotter accusations, I didn't know about the Maglev thing until I googled it just now.

I know nothing of Felt at the NEC, but I did see Denim at the MEN Arena in Manchester (supporting Pulp).

Re Maglev, i thought they'd killed it off not replaced it! Hmm i may have to have a go on this new one, does the route from airport to international station look different now i wonder?

I saw the new Maglev (no longer called Maglev) on Midlands Today and scoffed 'oh yeah, just like before then,' and then they switched to some film of the old one and it was like a cross between magic carpet and a wobbly shoebox. So the route is te same, but the experience is different.

I was thinking that maybe Felt played the NEC as part of one of those 'Rollercoaster' tours that were so popular with the kids back in the day.
