That guy from Soundtrack Of Our Lives.

Kylie Minogue

Horace Mann (Horace Mann), Thursday, 20 March 2003 14:45 (twenty-three years ago)

Calum, I think you're weight obsession is getting either

a. creepy
b. worrying
c. repetitive and humourless

or it may be all of the above, I dunno.

Lynskey (Lynskey), Thursday, 20 March 2003 14:46 (twenty-three years ago)

He lusts for man-tits.

MAKE IT STOP.

Best response to a Calum-Thread == "Bleh".

rex jr., Thursday, 20 March 2003 14:58 (twenty-three years ago)

Good idea. Lets impliment that.
Anytime he posts a thread. All we answer with is "bleh" and then move onto something FUCKING RELEVANT...

Lord Custos Epsilon (Lord Custos Epsilon), Thursday, 20 March 2003 15:00 (twenty-three years ago)

...such as Non-Calum threads!

Lord Custos Epsilon (Lord Custos Epsilon), Thursday, 20 March 2003 15:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Then why engage him in further discussion, Lord? Calum, brother you have issues.

S Samson, Thursday, 20 March 2003 15:01 (twenty-three years ago)

If you check the other thread, we have started a scheme where everyone answers a Calum thread with the word "bleh" and goes to another thread without elaborating. Eventually, instead of instigating flamewars, it'll be a thread full of "bleh"

Lord Custos Epsilon (Lord Custos Epsilon), Thursday, 20 March 2003 15:04 (twenty-three years ago)

Calum is harmless yet annoying. Surely ignoring these pointless threads is the best and most uncomplicated strategy?

S Samson, Thursday, 20 March 2003 15:08 (twenty-three years ago)

Hmmm. Maybe you're right.

But I still like the "bleh" idea.

Lord Custos Epsilon (Lord Custos Epsilon), Thursday, 20 March 2003 15:09 (twenty-three years ago)

The thing I love about Calum is that the objects of his merciless and compulsive scorn are inevitably some of the most passe and bullet-ridden targets in music, and yet he still carries himself like there's a hidden seriousness and relevance to his golden musings.

It's the most facile and self-hating satire from the back pages of an NME circa 1998 (Louise Wener! Gary Barlow! The Spice Girls! Tiny from Ultrasound!) ...ONLY ITS 2003.

In this way, he's sort of like the Jackie Harvey of music trolls.

mark p (Mark P), Thursday, 20 March 2003 15:12 (twenty-three years ago)

...or Jackie Trent.....

russ t, Thursday, 20 March 2003 15:32 (twenty-three years ago)

Would I get points if I kicked the corpse of Milli Vanilli?

Lord Custos Epsilon (Lord Custos Epsilon), Thursday, 20 March 2003 16:57 (twenty-three years ago)

...only if you were armed with a tape recorder and he made a sound. Frank Farian could release it. The first known recording of a genuine sound from Milli Vanilli.

russ t, Thursday, 20 March 2003 17:48 (twenty-three years ago)

< RECORDING >*Kick* *Kick* *Kick* *Kick* *Kick* *Kick* *Kick* *Kick* grooooaaaannnn *Kick* *Kick* *Kick* *Kick* < /RECORDING >

Lord Custos Epsilon (Lord Custos Epsilon), Thursday, 20 March 2003 18:44 (twenty-three years ago)

This thread is not neccessarily about fat men! For instance, one could argue that both Mel C and Gwen Stafani have 'man breasts'.

Calum, Thursday, 20 March 2003 19:49 (twenty-three years ago)

Frank Black's gotta be gettin' some b-cups by now, eh? But, it's hard to get any more manly than Grace Slick.

christoff (christoff), Thursday, 20 March 2003 20:12 (twenty-three years ago)
