Classic. Has that classic Jam/Lewis sheen to it.

Jay Vee (Manon_70), Monday, 24 March 2003 19:51 (twenty-three years ago)

I would say less classic than what they did 3-4 years later.

Geir Hongro (GeirHong), Monday, 24 March 2003 20:08 (twenty-three years ago)

Classic, but not as classic as "Just Be Good to Me."

Lee G (Lee G), Monday, 24 March 2003 20:40 (twenty-three years ago)

four years pass...

This is the only thread I managed to find on them. The search engine here is so fucked up that it makes you look for every single thread mentioning the word "Band" in it. It doesn't matter whether you put quotation marks around "S.O.S. Band", either. Anyway I've just made myself a whole CD of them and I'm a fucking CAPPY HAMPER. Disco married with early 80's R&B,it's a delight. Where are the fucking strawberries of love? This is romantic funk, man. That's the best way to say what they are is romantic funk.

Great stuff. I bought Just the Way You Like It on vinyl a couple of months ago; need to pull that one out.

If Timi Yuro would be still alive, most other singers could shut up, Sunday, 29 July 2007 05:35 (eighteen years ago)

Classic. Has that classic Jam/Lewis sheen to it.
